What you need to do before your appointment
New QLD laws don’t allow me to apply numbing cream to you. PLEASE reach out to me for what numbing cream and where to purchase this from - as it is a compounded numbing cream, DO NOT use numbing creams from chemists or online this makes your skin like rubber to tattoo and my pigment won’t take to your skin.
If your on blood thinners (only approved by your doctor to be tattooed by me) or take ibuprofen, aspirin ect do not take for 72 hours leading up to your appointment and day of. This will cause excessive bleeding and bruising which affects how your tattoo will heal.
Do not consume alcohol, avoid smoking and vaping 48 hours before your treatment. This will cause excessive bleeding and bruising which affects how your tattoo will heal.
No caffeine 24 hours before your appointment. This will cause excessive bleeding and bruising which will affect how your tattoo will heal.
Keeping hydrated - Applying moisturisers/lip balms leading up to your appointment, drinking plenty of water makes your skin and lips perfect to tattoo for an even coverage and perfect results.
NO Botox or cosmetic fillers should not be done within 3-4 weeks to your appointment, when i’m tattooing I apply pressure and I can move your filler or botox to unwanted areas of your face.
Do not laminate, tint or henna your eyebrows or fake tan your face for minimum of 4 weeks prior to your appointment. This will change the colour of my tattoo pigments and throw unwanted green tones.
If you are booked in for a Lip Blush tattoo appointment, and your prone to coldsores I strongly suggest taking medication for this leading up to your appointment and 3 days post to cover you, as I am tattooing your lips I can cause a flare up which will end up with unwanted cold sores/blisters which will affect the healed results.
If any of these are not met, I will refuse to tattoo your face on the day, I strive for perfection and for you to be happy and confident with your results.
