How to look after your tattoo
After leaving your appointment your brows or lips will be sensitive, almost like sunburn and possible minor swelling! Please avoid touching them or allowing your hair to touch them.
If you have clear fluid sitting on top of your new tattoo, gently dab the area with a clean and dry cotton pad or tissue. DO NOT rub your tattoo!
Apply a very small amount of the aftercare ointment I have supplied you morning and night with a clean cotton tip. Be very careful to not remove any scabs from your brows, less is more! For the lips please keep hydrated, drinking plenty of water and drink through a straw for 5-7days.
Avoid direct water on your tattoo for 10 days.
Avoid activities that will cause sweating for 10 days post treatment – If you go to gym, light workout no heavily sweating, and if need be use the supplied paper towel to dab your brows, please don’t use your gym towel which holds bacteria and may cause infection/irritation to your brows.
Do not use a sauna/steam room or swimming for 10 days post treatment.
Do not apply make-up, cleansers or creams on your brows for 10 days.
NO fake tan on your face for 2 weeks. Fake tan causes a chemical reaction and will turn your beautiful brows green!
If you're out in the sun, please be sun smart and wear a hat! Avoid UV and placing sunscreen on your tattoo.
Around days 4-10 you will experience scabbing, allow these to fall off naturally!! DO NOT PICK! This will cause patches in your healed brows!
Your brow tattoo will take up to 4-6 weeks to fully heal then we can book you in for your perfection session!
All cosmetic tattoos are always 2 step process, If you have existing tattoo underneath this may be 3-4 step process. This is due to skin types, the retention of your tattoo, your post care and lifestyle activities all being extremely different.
